Bio-Blocks
Slow Release Bacteria Supplement

Breaks down fats, oils, and grease for cleaner, more efficient systems

Bio-Blocks Video

Why use Bio-Blocks?

Fats, oils, and grease (FOG) from various facilities can build up in collection systems, causing clogging, decreased pump efficiency, and unpleasant odors in lift stations.

Bio‑Blocks are designed to break down FOG and organic waste using a high count of beneficial bacteria. Their regular use maintains system performance, reduces manual cleaning needs, and cuts maintenance costs.

Simply suspend the environmentally friendly Bio‑Blocks into the treatment area to efficiently reduce buildup and improve operational efficiency.

Usage Instructions

Dosing Schedule:

Flow Rate Block Size Maintenance
Up to 125,000 GPD 5‑lb 1 block every 1–3 months
125,001 to 775,000 GPD 10‑lb 1–2 blocks every 1–3 months
750,000 to 2 million GPD 30‑lb 1–2 blocks every 1–3 months

Do not add to the treatment system at a location where toxic or adverse pH, dissolved oxygen, or temperature conditions may occur at peak levels.

For optimal results, ensure the wastewater and treatment system meet the following conditions:

Optimum Minimum
Influent pH 7.0 5.0
DO (ppm) 2.0+ 1.0+
C/N/P Ratio 100/10/1 100/5/1
Temperature (°C) 30° (86° F) 10° (50° F)
Toxic Metals (ppm, e.g., hexavalent chromium) 0 0
